Who we are

The Canadian Rhinologic Society (CRS) brings together physicians, surgeons, and scientists across Canada dedicated to advancing the care of patients with sinonasal and skull base disorders. Through education, research, and national collaboration, we promote excellence in clinical practice, support innovation in rhinology, and strengthen knowledge translation for both healthcare professionals and the public.

As a community, we work to enhance patient outcomes, foster mentorship for the next generation of rhinologists, and advocate for high-quality, accessible rhinologic care across the country. The CRS also serves as a hub for professional development, offering national meetings, guidelines, resources, and collaborative opportunities that unite Canada’s rhinology community.

Founding purpose

The Canadian Rhinologic Society was created to fill a critical need: a unified national voice for sinonasal and skull base care in Canada. Until now, rhinologists across the country worked largely within regional silos, despite facing similar challenges in clinical practice, research, education, access to technology, and patient advocacy. By establishing the CRS, we aimed to bring together this highly specialized community to share expertise, develop Canadian-driven guidelines, promote standardization of care, support innovation, and elevate the visibility of rhinology within the broader medical landscape. Ultimately, the Society exists to ensure that patients across Canada benefit from the highest quality, evidence-based, and collaborative rhinologic care.
